Maia was leased as a young green broken horse in 2013 to Kelsey Stevenson at Mt Sanford Station, Northern Territory. Maia was used primarily for mustering cattle and Kelsey described her as a lovely and sensible ride, clever on cattle and cowy. Maia was lightly shown in the NT, for Champion Led on each occasion. Maia made the Ladies Final at her first campdraft. She foaled a palomino colt named Tarrawonga Solstice, by Chalani Sunstream, in 2016 for Kelsey, before continuing mustering work. She has since had 3 foals by Kirkbys Stud Credit, all showing lovely big movement, the first 2 bred by Kelsey and having broken in well. Maia returned to Chalani Stud in 2021.
