Bay Stallion 26/09/2023 ASH 264909
Stud fee $880
Trooper is a great blend of TB and ASH bloodlines. He can really move! Trooper has a massive stride in his trot, beautiful canter and a big walk. He is tall and elegant with great refinement, plus a nice nature. Trooper is a big horse, to mature over 16hh.
His sire Regal Banquet is a prolific winner in TB and ANSA classes at multiple Australian Royal Shows (Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra) over many years, led and ridden. He is also the sire of quality show hacks such as Regal Replica. Regal Banquet is out of a Lunchtime mare, Lunchtime being a fabulous and well recognised sire of show hacks and dressage horses of his era. Regal Banquet's dam Vanity Time is a half sister to the TB stallion Techrico (dec) who stood at Haydon Horse stud and has produced progeny successful in polo to the showring.
Trooper's dam Chalani Athena is a beautiful looking mare and was a smart station mustering horse, easy going and big moving. She was lightly campdrafted with outside scores on the board, making finals, including the Novice at Cloncurry as a 5yo.
Trooper's first foals born in Spring 2026 are of outstanding quality, with "Chalani Toffee" retained and "Chalani Campari" offered for sale.
